Clouds in Perlis Planning for Seeding Next Week

Arau, Perlis: Cloud seasoning is being planned to hit Perlis by next week by the Meterological Department, according to the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department.

It would be scheduled for the clouds seeding to be during between April 12 and 15, seeing the weather is focused on the presence of the clouds.

The operation is badly needed as the water level at the Timah Tasoh Dam
dropped to 26.34 metres today," the minister told the reporters who attended a community center function in ampung Alor Redis, Tambun Tulang in Perlis.

The level of the dam is currently 26.50 metres. The minister told the community said that he was recently informed about the cloud seeding by the department's director-generl Datuk Che Gayah Ismail.
